    Because the "Auto-mount new USB drives" function enabled.

    I understand.
    But this is not a new USB. I maybe want to remove that directory from SMB. I'll just source another directory. It comes back automatically after deleting

    Auto-mount new USB drives

    if i insert a new disk i will understand. it comes back when completely removing the current disk.
    So we will delete the source path that cannot be found after unmounting?

  2. Sorry, I may have misremembered the action.
    But I don't want to share that folder or disk anymore in smb.
    Why is it coming back? This is the main case.

    addition:

    sorry again.

    I also showed unmounted disk in the cli output. while the disk is in a disconneted state.

    It was something I noticed late at night. I had trouble remembering because of lack of sleep. 😟

    In models manufactured with two system modes (router/extender) it is not allowed to change a system mode set.

    Thanks for the explanation.
    I understand that change in component sets is normal.

    Component sets have been reorganized for current and future models.

    Both demo UIs are in the same software version; While components are visible in Extra DSL, they are not visible in Giga.

    The mode set fixed for a specific model at manufacturing stage and will not be changed for compatibility reasons.

    If I'm not mistaken, this is a feature creation for a new device.
    I think 12v 0.5a adapter is for this device. :)
    We love Keenetic innovations.

    But that wasn't really my question.
    The system operating modes do not appear in the component list on some of my devices.
    It still appears on some of my devices.

    Is it a problem or a known change? That's what I was wondering.

  5. Hello,

    I started to run one of my disks on the extender.
    I want to use torrent remote access and webdav.

    But when doing these, I don't want to use a keendns for this extender. I can currently access all extenders in my mesh system with level 4 from the main controller.

    Can't I access the applications on this extender?

    1 - https to my torrent interface (applying this article on the extender and using it with main controller keendns https://help.keenetic.com/hc/en-us/articles/4405806688914 )
          -   With the 4th level 8090 port rule, I can access my torrent application running on the extender.

    2- webdav - creates keendns in extender in the interface. ( webdav2.maincontroller.keenetic.pro/webdav )

    Can it be done with any rule?

    Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

  6. I disabled the media server. I tried the CLI command to remove the path in the database part. And I recorded it.

    But I could not see that the path was deleted neither in running nor startup.

  7. And even after disconnecting the disk from the interface, it came back again.

  8. Hello,

    I heard a long time ago that "adapter mode" will be removed from system operating modes.
    The system operating mode switching part has already dropped to 2 modes a while ago. Router and Extender. 👍

    https://prnt.sc/65n7WsZW-Ym1

    Is this why it is not showing up in the component options? However, the option still appears on some of my devices with the same software versions. In some System operating modes title does not appear.

    config-ap, config-repeter and config-client are also not available in the cli output. It is possible to switch to the repeater mode from the system settings.

  9. @sips I guess I don't need to test anymore. Because I am already blocked regionally from using the Zyxel Keenetic Plus DSL module on my EU/TR Keenetics.
    (For this reason, the usb hub and dsl modue I bought was an unnecessary expense.)

    I seem to have no reason to test for the presence of this symptom. I am sad. Sorry. Thank you for all your help.

    PS: Maybe I'll have a reason to test it later. Idk!!

  10. The Internet is a door that allows us to open up to the world. I am a person who believes that I will do this with Keenetic in the past and today, as well as in the future, without any problems.

    I'm going to talk about a modular USB device that has never been sold in the EU and TR. Zyxel Keenetic Plus DSL. I cannot use the device on Keenetics with EU and TR regions.

    The device may not be suitable for marketing after the change of the brand name and with the advancement of technology, and/or its production may have stopped, or a new device may be considered instead.

    Despite this, it is still sold in the RU market both in local locations and available at shop.keenetic.ru, and it does not appear to be sold out on Keenetic.ru, like the Keenetic City model.
    https://keenetic.ru/ru/keenetic-city

    Universally, I or anyone else can still access/own this device.
    There is also a compatibility list on the relevant market and promotion pages of the product. (By the way, the list on the shop side is not up to date.)

    https://keenetic.ru/ru/zyxel-keenetic-plus-dsl
    https://shop.keenetic.ru/product/zyxel-keenetic-plus-dsl
    https://keenetic.ru/storage/uploads/certificates/98288150-39de-4cb8-bf45-93b69c0e4a14.pdf

    In the product introduction, it is written that it may be compatible with the new Keenetic router models with a USB port, apart from the models with built-in DSL feature.

    But nowhere is "COMPATIBILITY AVAILABLE ONLY FOR DEVICES SOLD IN RU MARKET" and/or "DOES NOT WORK IN SPECIFIC REGIONS". such information was not specified and could not be found.

    ---------------------------------------------

    Spoiler

    "В будущем также ожидается добавление поддержки в более новых моделях, оснащенных портом добавление поддержки в более новых моделях, оснащенных портом добавление DSL нгоимехат."

    ""Gelecekte, USB bağlantı noktasına sahip ve yerleşik bir DSL modemi olmayan daha yeni modellere de destek eklenmesi bekleniyor."

    "Support is also expected to be added in the future on newer models that have a USB port and do not have a built-in DSL modem."

    ---------------------------------------------

    In this case, when I am curious and maybe want to experience this product for a long time; I have to make the following inferences.

    1- To request the removal of this restriction for a modular product
    2- I want the region of my current Keenetic device to be changeable.
    3- Aiming to buy a new Keenetic router with RU variant.
    4- Removing and/or destroying the device.

    I live in Antalya, Turkey. Maybe many people will know that Antalya is one of the provinces that received the most immigration due to the war. I also formed very good friendships with a friend I met through the Keenetic group. While I was trying to help them, they also brought me various gifts out of my Keenetic love. I thank him very much. @Jattiko
    He also uses his beloved Keenetic in our country. And with my recommendation, Zyxel Keenetic PLUS DSL, it has a smooth internet experience. Likewise, while he can use the USB module with the RU variant device, I cannot use it within the same province.

    As EU, TR and RU users, I'm curious about your thoughts on my thinking. pls comment!!

    Could you, please provide me with the full diagnostic info collected when reproducing the issue?
    Follow the steps below to collect the diagnostic info:

    1. disable the Phone station on the page Telephony>Phone Station;
    2. unplug both the USB hub and the Keenetic Linear from your Keenetic router;
    3. go to Management>Diagnostics>Debug, click “Restart system in debug mode”;
    4. plug the Keenetic Linear to the USB hub and then plug the USB hub to your Keenetic router;
    5. enable the Phone station on the page Telephony>Phone Station;
    6. go to the page Telephony>Phone lines and make sure that the issue is here again. If it is not, restart from the step 1;
    7. go to Management>Diagnostics>Debug, click “Stop debugging”;
    8. download the file self-test_xxxxx.txt and attach it here with your next post.

    I will do it at my first available time and share the files. Thanks. :)

    We added a fix for your problem in the KeeneticOS v3.9 Beta 2. With that version installed, Keenetic Linear connected via a USB hub should start successfully.
    So, I assume that the KeeneticOS installed on your Keenetic is older than 3.9 Beta 2. Please, check this and if so, update to 3.9 Beta 2 from the Preview channel.

    I am using 3.9.B.2 Developer Version.

  13. @sips Hello again,

    I need to use usb hub for both Linear and Zyxel Plus DSL. So today I mount simple usb hub. At first, Linear does not start itself again.

    Steps: Phone Station disabled > Remove Linear from device > New usb hub atteched to Keenetic > Mount Linear to usb hub > Enabled telephone service > https://prnt.sc/uTby-zxhZlyu Same issue again > Turn off / on this switch > Linear Works
