Why is my keenetic titan connecting to google every 15s?

Question

Posted

I have a DNS server on a local machine (192.168.2.5) which I configured as the name server in the keenetic:

ip dhcp pool _WEBADMIN
    range 192.168.2.100 192.168.2.199
    default-router 192.168.2.1
    dns-server 192.168.2.5
    lease 25200
    bind Home
    enable
!
ip name-server 192.168.2.5 "" on ISP

To my surprise, I see that the keenetic is now querying for google.com every 15s:

Dec 10 00:19:12 dnsmasq[442]: query[A] google.com from 192.168.2.1

Dec 10 00:22:42 dnsmasq[442]: query[A] google.com from 192.168.2.1

Why on earth does it do that??
