it would be very useful to have possibility to lease same static IPs for different MAC addresses (for example, cli option to unlock this advanced behaviour).
Why?
One of simple use cases. I have a macbook with eth and wifi. Most often I use wifi, but sometimes connect cable to make better connection. Mac OS supports configuration when both interfaces have the same IP and this way I don't loose opened connections when switching. As far as I provide many parameters via DHCP, it would be good possibility to allow DHCP server to lease the same IP for both my network cards.
