kedimi7 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 (edited) Hi all 🙂  When my Vodafone K4606 usb mobile modem is plugged into any pc, it connects directly to the internet after 30 seconds.  https://www.vodafone.com/content/dam/vodcom/devices/mobile-broadband-devices/K4606specs.pdf  However, when I try it on my Keenetic KN-2510 Peak Dsl and KN-3610 Hopper Dsl modems, it does not see the usb modem.  I request global support for my usb modem to be recognized on my Keenetic devices and I want it to be among the supported devices.  Because another model belonging to Huawei brand, K4201, is among the supported devices and is the lower version of my usb modem.  I do not think it is right that it is not supported for the more advanced version, K4606.  I would be glad if you forward my request to Global Keenetic experts.  Thank you 🙂 20240924_114359.mp4 Edited September 24 by kedimi7 Added video and photos 1 Quote

After sending Selftest, special product software was produced to recognize the unrecognized USB modem. Then fine adjustments were made. I plugged the USB mobile modem into my Windows 7 PC and installed the embedded Vodafone Mobile Broadband software in the device. I clicked on settings to make sure the USB modem was unlocked. I went into connection settings. It allowed me to create and save custom internet settings. In other words, Huawei mobile modems in Turkey are produced in unlocked mode by default. I selected a custom profile in the internet settings and wrote apn: internet and I wrote ipv4:0000 and saved it. It connected automatically immediately. And I immediately plugged the USB modem into my Keenetic modem. It automatically connected to the internet after about 20 seconds. SOLVED 💯 Thank you very much 🙂 1 Quote

Ok, If all goes well, will this fix be included in future stable updates? Because I like using stable and updated firmware. Edited September 24 by kedimi7 Quote
