Air KN-1613 extending MicroTic router fails to give IP in guest segments

Question

Posted

We are using MicroTic center router to provide 2 WiFi networks for office use - one is private, another is a public net. The router is extended by a Keenetic Air 1613 device in Extender (B) mode. In a control panel, we have designated them as 2 segments- Home segment and Guest segment. The Home segment works, but the whenever a device tries to connect to the public network through Keenetic extender - they return "Couldnt get an IP address"

We have tried changing WI-FI settings for the network; Keenetic Air does recognize MicroTic router's IP as a DNS server
