Because modems which ISP's provided to users have pre-configured and locked area "@ttnet" Maybe they assume that pre-user name is enough. There are many ISP in Türkiye. All of them use this format: yerebakan@ttnet, yerebakan@vodafone, yerebakan@turknet ....etc. I know different regions use different kind of auth. Maybe adopting this in TR region suitable.
