KN-1711 USB modem stop working after update firmware to 3.8

Hi team,

I'm faced with problem with usb modem (huawei E3372, zte mf79u). both modems stopped working on the latest firmware version KN-1711_stable_3.08.C.5.0-4.

I could fix the issue only via the recovery tool to reset the firmware to the version 3.3.10 and disable auto-update.

After update status of the usb modem is "Not Ready"

I've attached logs.

any idea why the update leads to a broken usb modem?
