[SOLVED] How to repurpose the WAN port as a LAN port on a Hopper DSL 3610?

Question

Posted (edited)

Hi everyone,
I have a Hopper DSL 3610 router. It has four RJ45 ports: 1 WAN and 3 LAN. Since I'm using FTTC through the built-in DSL modem (RJ11), the WAN port is not used.
Is it possible to reconfigure the WAN port so it behaves as an additional LAN port on the local network?
Thanks!

Yes, it should be possible: you need to go to the "Ethernet Cable Connections to Internet" page and delete the existing Ethernet WAN connection.
Then the blue Ethernet port will become just another LAN port. I am using an older DSL device, but the process is the same.
