  1. ... when certain statements are made I always wonder if we read the specifications issued by the official bodies in charge (prepared by almost all countries to avoid the chaos of specifications and compatibility at a global level, and so at the moment) obviously, it is possible and I believe that Broadcom chips have an edge, each manufacturer can add to the specifications, further possibilities for improving the product, I myself have had the opportunity to test their good grip on particularly difficult lines, this does not mean that all chips have algorithms, or narrow implementations like Broadcom, but Standard implementations must be there if you want to sell Chips to equipment manufacturers, otherwise they might not even buy your Chips due to lack of specifications. So why do you say it's all fake?
ENG. TRANSLATE----- Hello Barin86, sorry if I intervene in Italian, but perhaps some misunderstanding due to the language, but it seems he asked you to give the commands without going through the Fritz, but only with the Hero DSL and Linear also sending the diagnostic Debug file, otherwise it may not arrive at an objective diagnosis on the existence of a real problem on the linear, or a wrong configuration of the parameters or whatever it is. P.S. Of course "Murdoch" continues to complicate our lives, first on satellite, now as an ISP service provider. If he didn't make it complicated, he couldn't scratch his ass!
  3. Hello everyone, I wanted to propose (if possible and if not already in future planning!) To introduce the "call blocking" function in the telephone station. In practice, having the ability to block unwanted telephone numbers, both mobile and landline, even with an international prefix. Tanks and good Job
  4. He reported that he returned the device because he could not set it up to the same speed as the modem provided by the ISP.
  5. We need to report the problem to the developers and ask if it is possible to fix this problem as well or are there limitations of the solutions they implement with SMB, FTP and other protocols.
  6. However it seems that from version 3.9A2 (last 3.9A7) they have removed a limitation, i.e. that of writing files greater than 4 GigaByte from this version, they can be written without problems, they have not reported the limit that can be reached as a whole as a single file, and personally I do not have never written to the disk connected to the router such a large file, it may be that the corruption of the files was also due to this limit which has now been removed. To check you can always do a test by writing a file larger than 4 Gb and check if this time it is corrupt.
  7. ... there are no "A" and "B" series chipsets, all must for obvious reasons comply with the International rules of compliance with the IEE, ITU and other bodies responsible for specifications, which are universally adopted. It is true that your modem connects according to your contractual basis with the ISP, but often if not always the ISPs also implement Remote Management on their modems, a mechanism that allows your ISP to remotely control your modem. If the Keenetic modem gives you a line drop with a noise of 46DBI, in normal conditions on traditional ADSL +, I would have told you that nothing can be done because you are about 5km from the control unit, but at 50 meters something is wrong. for the right way in your system, even if their modem goes according to the contractual stipulations, who knows what "Magheggio" (alchemy!) they did to give you the correct values. Which if you have time to waste and a minimum of knowledge of applicable values you can have fun trying to get the same results.
  8. ... for only 50Mt, not even their modem can give you the 30 megs, which at that distance in the absence of crosstalk and disturbances related to the distance that in your case do not exist you should have, before fiddling with modems, you should (advice) check the cables and junctions of your telephone system, remove any filters applied which are only for the ADSL and ADSL2 versions not for VDSL-VDSL2, remove any oxidation at the junctions using a simple deoxidizing spray for electrical contacts, if the home and equipped with an anti-theft then you will have to call a technician for a small modification to the connected anti-theft system, because although it is true that the MediaTek chipsets do not excel in performance on difficult lines (Which is not your case given the short distance from the cabinet!), they come with many software variables to get a good compromise. In the meantime I'll post you an image of my VDSL configuration which is working correctly.
  9. Hi, from the screenshots you show, it does not seem that your line is regular since you are connected in VDSL2, which should start from at least 30m, but I see that you have a lot of noise in the line that surely lowers the carrier beyond the minimum edictal of 30mega , how far are you from the road connection? (FTTC) As for the low upload, try to disable (Uncheck) the UPBO function at -> "DSL settings" -> "Additional line settings" on Keenetic then turn off and on, and double check the upload. Giornali.txt
  10. ... the problem that arises and that the files are corrupted regardless of the NTFS or EXT * formatting? Can I ask you if the formatting was carried out while the disk was connected to the modem, or did you format them with external drives always via USB?
  11. It is possible that they have placed restrictions on the modem without respecting the specifications?

  13. 100Gb? I hope you are not using Windows 32, otherwise it is not explained, because these are the specifications of NTFS on Windows 64.
  14. P.S. The disk over 2 Tb GPT is mandatory, otherwise NTFS will not show you beyond 2 Tb if you do not make it GPT, but it also works great on 1 Tb disks. (Less than 1 Really makes little sense but if you don't want to use Linux ext4 that's fine anyway!)
  15. generally formatting the disks in NTFS does not allow you to write files larger than 4 Gb, format the disk connected to the modem / router and make it GPT, you will see that all limits will disappear, as well as errors. It is recommended to use GPT formatted disks for capacities over 2 Tb, otherwise use Linux ext4 formatting. (for everyone)

  17. ... breakages on Keenetic products are very sporadic if not rare because the motherboard contains very few discrete components, you were just unlucky because normally the Keenetics go like steam trains without ever stopping, personally since I use the Keenetic I do not get angry anymore and I don't even have to keep the modems as an ornament until a new Firmware comes out (Years!) which fixes everything as often happened with a Chinese company with a high-sounding name, but with products (Even the CLI is almost non-existent or reduced to the bare minimum) which I do not even recommend as toys for children. For heaven's sake stay away if you can and you will live happily!
  18. Grazie per la risposta, ottime notizie...
  19. Ciao a tutti, vorrei chiedere una funzionalità, sempre se questa è considerata interessante e davvero efficace, nella configurazione WI-FI: vorrei chiedere se è possibile implementare il "Group Key Update Period:" Grazie
