1000Mbps / Speed Differences (NTCE vs HWNAT)

KYTECHNGAMING

Question

I observed a difference between using ntce and hwnat on my new 1000mbps line. I am not sure if it is necessary to use ntce in this bandwidth. But still, this blocking of the speed in the traffic engine gave rise to the thought that there is a problem.

- Keenetic Hero DSL (KN-2410)
- KeeneticOs 3.8.A.1

Then I just need to activate hwnat. I just use it. The built-in traffic shaper will also do its job.

I won't be able to use the usage analyzer with the R&S Pace2.

You can use traffic analyzer with hwnat, but data is not precise.

To check how many connections are managed by hwnat type in cli:

show ppe

Thank's for the information. I kept hwnat turned off for the traffic analyzer to work efficiently. I have read in the articles. In this bandwidth, I will either choose one or both.
